The route spans 160–230 km depending on the itinerary, starting from Besisahar and ending in Pokhara. It crosses the Thorong La Pass at 5,416 meters, one of the highest trekking passes in the world. Trekkers pass through subtropical forests, arid highlands, and traditional villages inhabited by Gurung, Thakali, and Manangi communities.
